Yavapai elk camp knife
The yavapai elk camp knife befits northern
Arizona and its ponderosa pine forests, home of huge elk herds .
This large camp knife is useful for dressing out that big elk in the
field as well as serving normal in camp chores. The handle is
made from buffalo bone and is extremely suited to rough use as well
as a big hand. The 4 inch by 1 3/8 inch blade has plenty
of belly for shinning and its thin edge profile makes quick work of
even the biggiet animal. Its drop point is gracefull and
yet functional for allowing easy dressing of the trophy. This
partular model has become one of the favorites in my line. It is
make from 3/16 inch stock and the blade back retains much of this
thichness as it tapers to the point. Put together with a full
tang and you
have a knife for the ages.
This knive comes with my custom molded pouch sheath, secured for
a lifetime with SheathCoatTM leather treatment.
